Clay Pigeon Shoots

Tower of Lebanon 169 held its first shoot on Saturday 26th August 2005. Since then it has become a regular in the calendar.

W. Bro. Bob Lennox organised a clay pigeon shoot at premises known to him in Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim.

We assemble in the car park of Carrickfergus Castle and traveled to the venue. Here in a large field with a small caravan the shoot was set up with each participial having 50 cartridges at their disposal. W. Bro. david Jamison operated the Trap assisted by Bro. David Stone. Bob already a keen licence shooter was in charge of the event and gave good instructions to the assembled shots.

It has to be said the weather needs to be At least dry.

FROZEN TURKEY SHOOT 2006

Following the success during the Summer months a further Shoot was organised for the same venue but leaving out the barbeque and taking place early in February 2006.

Although very cold all brought tea and sandwiches for refreshment. Again a great day out that remained dry!!
